Is Sky Tower’s observation deck worth visiting?
Yes, if you want to see the scale of Wrocław from high above. Visibility makes the biggest difference: it determines how much of the city and surrounding area you can recognise.
You want a wide panorama
The lift, views from around 200 metres and a café break suit a relaxed sightseeing visit.
Fog is hiding the tower
If distant views are your priority, consider another time. Kolejkowo or Robaczkowo can fill the gap while you wait for the weather to improve.

Rain, winter and sunset — when is the view worthwhile?
Rain: Sky Tower has an indoor viewing area. Rain alone does not mean the entire attraction closes, but drops on the glass and low clouds may restrict the view.
Winter: check visibility and the operator’s latest notice. The outdoor area may be unavailable outside the season; do not assume it will be included in a winter visit.
Sunset: compare the sunset time on your chosen day with the last admission time. Allow for queues and the visit limit; a ticket for the day does not guarantee reaching the deck at a particular minute.

What can you see from Sky Tower?
The city: look for Ostrów Tumski, the tower of St Elizabeth’s Church, Wroclavia, Rędziński Bridge and the distinctive buildings of Wrocław’s Manhattan complex.
Further afield: in clear conditions, Mount Ślęża is visible south of Wrocław. This view is not guaranteed on every visit.

Do I book a specific time?
The published rules describe a ticket for a chosen day. The booking site says lifts depart every 5–10 minutes. Check your ticket conditions before payment; buying online does not guarantee admission without a wait.
What about discounts and refunds?
Bring proof of eligibility for a reduced ticket. The rules limit refunds and exchanges, with stated exceptions. Read the conditions before buying.
Can you visit for free?
Standard adult admission is paid. The operator lists a free category for children up to age 3. Special arrangements for group guides require a Sky Tower guide card and a qualifying group size; they are not a general free-admission offer.
The operator advertises a 10% deck discount with a Kolejkowo ticket from the same day. Check the conditions before buying; the calculator uses regular prices.

How much time should you allow?
The modern lift journey takes around 45 seconds, according to the city’s visitor information. Departures every 5–10 minutes describe frequency, not travel time. The rules limit the stay on the deck to 45 minutes.
We suggest allowing roughly 60–90 minutes for the whole visit, including finding the ticket office, waiting and returning. This is an editorial planning allowance, not a guaranteed service time; queues may require longer.

Head for the observation deck ticket office on the first floor of the Sky Tower shopping centre. Kolejkowo, Robaczkowo and the simulator have their own entrances.

Staff direct visitors to the lift for the 49th floor. You may need to wait if the visitor capacity has been reached.
From Wrocław Główny station
The operator gives a distance of around 1.5 km from the railway and coach stations. Allow roughly 20–30 minutes to walk from Wrocław Główny, depending on your exit and pace. Open the walking route to the shopping centre and add time to reach level +1.
With large luggage or poor weather, compare public transport options. Enter “Wrocław Główny” as the start and “Sky Tower” as the destination; routes and transfers depend on the timetable for your travel day. Find a connection ↗.
By car
The operator describes an entrance from Wielka Street, with the parking office beside it on level −1. Parking hours: 5:30–23:00. Published rates: 6 zł from 20 minutes through the first hour, then 7 zł for the second and subsequent hours. The table does not clearly explain the first 20 minutes or part-hour charging. Check at the entrance; parking office: 665 112 377 (7:00–22:00).
Arriving with luggage or a backpack?
The rules prohibit items including suitcases, backpacks, large bags and your own food and drinks. Before coming from the station, arrange where to leave your luggage; do not assume there is storage at the deck.

Visit with children, without rushing.
Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. The operator offers a free ticket category for the youngest visitors; check reduced-ticket eligibility for older children.
A snack and a break
Eat before entering. Your own food and drinks are not allowed on the observation deck. Ask at the ticket office where the toilets are before taking the lift.
A little challenge
Try to spot a river, a bridge and a familiar building. Adapt the visit to how your child feels, within the 45-minute limit.
One more attraction
Kolejkowo or Robaczkowo let you extend the day without travelling across the city. Each has a separate ticket and its own rules.
Pushchairs and wheelchairs — what should you check?
A dedicated lift serves the observation deck. However, the available information does not provide a complete, current description of the pushchair or wheelchair route from the shopping centre entrance to the deck.
Before buying, contact the operator: rezerwacje@kasa.skytower.pl. Check whether your pushchair or wheelchair can go up, whether folding or advance notice is required, and where the accessible toilet and changing table are. Ask for the entrance and the entire step-free route.
These points need confirmation; this does not mean pushchairs or wheelchairs are prohibited. Rules for other attractions in the shopping centre do not automatically apply to the deck.

How much time do you have?
Choose an option to see a simple visit order. The ranges include an approximate allowance for walking and waiting.
Start by checking visibility. Up to 45 minutes on the deck; the rest of the estimated time covers walking, waiting and lift journeys.
How should you order the visit and add the simulator?
If visibility is good, you can start with the panorama. If you already have a timed booking for another attraction, arrange the rest around it. Check each venue’s own closing time.
Kolejkowo usually takes 90–120 minutes, while Robaczkowo recommends around 1–2 hours. Simulator sessions last 30, 45 or 60 minutes; add the required early arrival time stated in your booking. Find details in the Loty Marzeń guide.

What should you plan before taking the lift?
You cannot bring your own food and drinks onto the deck. If you want a larger meal, eat in the shopping centre and add time to your plan. Going to the upstairs café does not replace the admission ticket.

Fitness Academy in Sky Tower — now part of Zdrofit
The chain announced Fitness Academy’s move to Zdrofit from 26 August 2026. Signs are being changed in stages, so you may see both names. The club is a separate service in the complex at Powstańców Śląskich 95.
The former club website lists Monday–Friday 6:00–23:00 and Saturday–Sunday 7:00–22:00. These differ from the shopping centre’s table. Before training, check the current Zdrofit schedule or call the club: 532 914 903.
Facilities include weights and cardio areas, a fitness room and saunas. For a one-off visit, check the admission price, registration requirements and sports-card rules. Lockers need a padlock; bring your own or ask about buying one on site. Confirm any parking discount at reception; it is not a general discount for observation deck visitors.

How many floors does Sky Tower have, and which can you visit?
The city describes 51 storeys. A storey count and a numbered floor are not interchangeable: the ground floor also counts as a storey. This does not mean tourists can visit a “51st floor”. The observation deck ticket takes you to the 49th floor, around 200 metres above ground.
Is Sky Tower the tallest building in Poland?
No. Sky Tower’s total height is 212 m, while Warsaw’s Varso Tower reaches 310 m including its spire. This compares total building heights, not observation deck heights. The city describes Sky Tower as Wrocław’s tallest building.

Sky Tower offers great height and a wide panorama. The old town’s towers bring you closer to historic buildings. Choose according to the view and how you reach it.
