We went. We ate. Here is what stayed with us.
We arrived on a weekday at around 17:00. The room was almost full, but we got a table without queuing. Staff showed us to our seats and took our order. This describes that visit, not a promise about waiting times.
We ordered a classic pork schnitzel with potatoes, sides and beer. The portion was the standout: we could not finish everything. Service felt relaxed and unobtrusive.
For us, Konspira works because of its hearty Polish food, central location and distinctive interior. If you need quiet or have a train to catch, ask about both the table queue and food preparation time first.
A good fit if…
You want traditional Polish food in the centre, enjoy substantial portions and are curious about Wrocław’s history.
Plan differently if…
You need a guaranteed mealtime at the weekend or a particularly quiet, intimate setting.
Behind the wardrobe, another story.
The interiors refer to life in communist Poland and Wrocław’s anti-communist opposition, particularly in the 1980s. Photographs, printed material and props are part of the restaurant’s character.
A hidden room behind a wardrobe recreates a period apartment. Ask staff whether you can look inside during your visit. Access and seating depend on what is happening in the restaurant.
Konspira also describes itself as a historical education centre. Plan a restaurant visit: do not assume a separate museum route, fixed visiting hours for the room or a guided tour.
Before you walk in
With children
There is a children’s menu with broth, pierogi, potato dumplings and potato pancakes. Ask ahead about highchairs, pushchair space and available facilities.
Vegetarian choices
Ruskie and partyzanckie pierogi are marked Vege in the menu. Mixed platters may contain meat; the word “pierogi” alone does not indicate a vegetarian dish.
Accessibility
The entrance photograph shows uneven paving. We have not verified doorway widths or an accessible toilet. Call to discuss the exact route to a table.
Dogs, payment, outdoor seating
Confirm dog admission, payment methods and outdoor seating directly. Older restaurant profiles give inconsistent information, so we do not treat them as guarantees.
Larger groups
Ask about sitting together before arriving. Platters for two or four help share food, but do not secure a table for your group.

Plac Solny adjoins the south-western corner of Rynek. Walk the final stretch.
By tram or bus
Check a route into the centre for your travel day. Lines and timetables can change.
By car
Plan parking away from the entrance and walk from there. Do not assume you can drive onto or park on the square; local traffic restrictions apply.
Questions before visiting Konspira
Can I book a table for Saturday?
No. Konspira does not take reservations on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays or Polish public holidays. Tables are first come, first served.
How do I book on a weekday?
For a working Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, call +48 535 212 586 or use the restaurant’s form. Your booking needs confirmation from the restaurant.

How much does a meal cost?
As checked, ruskie pierogi with a 0.25 l kompot cost PLN 46.98; Zestaw Robotniczy with the same drink costs PLN 71.98. These examples exclude other extras and any service charge.
When does the kitchen close?
In a regular week, at 22:00 Monday–Wednesday and Sunday, and at 23:00 Thursday–Saturday. The restaurant stays open later. Confirm exceptional hours directly.
Are there vegetarian dishes?
Yes. Ruskie and partyzanckie pierogi are marked Vege. They contain dairy and should not be assumed to be vegan or gluten-free.
Can I visit the hidden room?
It is part of the restaurant, behind a wardrobe. Ask staff about access when you visit; entry and tours are not guaranteed.
Will I have to queue?
We do not have live queue information. We were seated straight away during our weekday visit at around 17:00, but this does not predict another day. Ask about both a table and food waiting times.
